Anthony Leonard owns and operates North West River Expeditions (NWRE), and has many friendly, experienced and knowledgeable guides running the river with him. NWRE has been specializing in personal customized whitewater rafting trips on the Salmon River since the 1970’s! NWRE prides itself on the quality of our river trips! Northwest River Expeditions prides itself on giving their guests a once in a lifetime experience. We can accommodate as many as 24 people on our wilderness trips. However, we are not necessarily a company to “Sell seats” so we may have a limit on how many people need to book the trip, but you’ll be getting one on one time with the guides and with your friends and family. It will be like a private trip for your group but with all the knowledge of our guides you will leave the river knowing so much more about the Frank Church Wilderness area than when you started. If you love to fish, we can get you to all the fresh creeks, and streams as we float by and all of the lovely holes along the river. If you like to hike, we can get you to camp a little early or have a layover day so you can hike while others in the group fish, swim, and enjoy camp. There are many different homesteads along the river we can stop and look at (some are private but there are several we can stop and read about the history).
Maybe you’re celebrating a birthday, or an anniversary, or maybe you want to elope on the river, we can accommodate most anything. We love the requests our guests come up with. We want this to be the best adventure that you’ll ever remember. So, you’ll tell all your friends about it.
